2 mile warmup. Then 5 @ 8:10 average. Was shooting for 8:20 but it was too dark to consistently see my watch to stay on track for the first 3. Kept trying to go a little faster so I could be sure to come under time. Feels good to finish the planned workout. Feels good to be running well without any worry some niggles. Still don't feel confident about meeting my time goals for either the half or full marathon. And maybe I won't but I am still incredibly grateful that at 50 I am still able to be out there running. |
