Hip bothers me no more and no less if I run. So now I am just annoyed that I took so much time off. Was running 10 miles at 9:00 per mile. New starting point today 1 mile at 9:00. Weight up 3 pounds since injury. So hard to eat less. Still not one to wallow in self pity. I am incredibly lucky to be able to run. Will just start from where I am and work from there. BQ a bit further away than it was. Training would have needed to go perfectly for me to take a shot at it this spring. It didn't. So maybe next fall. Still won't do much more than long slow miles until hip is better. Mentally I can live with 3-6 mile range 4-5 days a week. Less than that my sanity suffers. |
