Still not quite done feeling sorry for myself. Saw ortho doc today. He says no running for two weeks. He is afraid that the finger will swell and that might cause joint scaring. Not buying that logic. Especially when he said biking ok. I will cut back and slow down for a week but I think that is my limit. Biking definetly not ok. I can't hold the handlebars. Swimming not ok until hole that bone came through heals. I think it will be a while before pull through water doesn't hurt. But best news is no surgery needed. |
