Wanted a solid faster run. Started out shooting for 9 min miles. Was feeling ok so kept going at a pace that was hard but sustainable. Averaged 8:30. Ran last 6 miles at a faster pace than the 10k race I did last week. This is the kind of run I feel like I need to do a lot of. 6-12 mile range 8-8:30 mile pace. It's not the kind of run any of the training plans call for on a consistent basis. |
