1 at 8:07. Was trying to hit 8 but a hill at the end slowed me down.

I remain puzzleled by my in ability to run a Boston qualifier. 7 miles today at 9 min/ mile average. Was relatively easy. That's all I have to do. Just for 19 additional miles. Guess I will take another shot at it this year.

Running almost daily seems to be better for my fitness than running 4-5 days per week.

9:20 average.  Carefully increasing frequency, distance and pace.  The 20 year old brain just wants to go out and run 10 miles a day every day as fast as I can beating the day befores pace.  The 20 year old body tolerated that.  This 50 year old body will not.

Treadmill workout.  2 miles working down to 8:30 pace then 5 at 8:30.  1 mile cool down.  Wanted to push the speed faster for the last mile but just didn't have it.  Annoying that I was running 8 miles at an 8 min/mile pace at this time last year and cannot do it now.  And yet most greatful that I can run 8 miles.
